The TRACTION! Appreciation Thread

if i were you I'd be working on the old boy to get it donated to a worthy son. Nice looking car.

He'd happily do that ....................................... If I gave him the market value of it ............... Which is a lot. Though there would be a HEAP of sorting to do as it's been off the road for decades, where can you buy *any* retrimed very tidy looking driving traction for less than ..... Maybe $12,000  The body was probably painted 20years ago... yet there is no signs of rust breaking through in it's sills or panels, so I imagine it's quite a good car underneath too.

seeya,
Shane L.

my son recently sent me a picture taken on his phone ,of a traction convertible ,in Sydney ,anyone know that car .PUGS

Mightily impressed by the sheer beauty of these old cars...........the renovation on the blue is truly impressive . Take a look at this http://www.croisieres-citroen.comI have enclosed this link on much earlier citroens because I met the restorer Eric Deschamps and had an opportunity to view his truly amazing workshop.Naturally the site is in French but the illustrations and photos are extremely interesting.Hope I am not stepping on anyones toes by adding this to your thread.

This thread seems to have been overlooked for a long while so I thought that I would share some shots taken over the weekend of my Light 15 and Rob Little's Big 15 which were the cars requested by my son and my new daughter at their wedding!

And, some shots on the way back home. We pulled into Andersons Mill Reserve at Smeaton and the setting under the oaks was too good to resist a few snaps!

While we were there a young lass that had been setting up for her wedding at the Mill came over and asked whether or not I was a local and would I be prepared to provide the car for her big day. Had I been a local I would probably have said yes. Never the less it was a very flattering request!

So what is the story behind this one Shane?
Obviously a one off special, but who built it and when? Also what is happening with it now?
