The Michelin XVS tires have been purchased from Longstones in UK and the wheels have been sprayed in 2 pack. A new windscreen has been fitted recently and the roof is good to go, it has been resealed not so long ago.
The inner carpet kit is yet to be sourced if anyone knows where please let me know.
All stainless bumpers, hub cups, aluminum disk brakes tunnels and radiator shroud have been polished by Alby in Silverwater and I will keep him busy again shortly.
Right; the time has come to start on the body and organize the new duco I am in liaison with Schenk and will speak to him Saturday week
Only the rear guards will stay on the car, the rest of the panels will be replaced, I have managed to find a set of brand news original Citroen doors with original P/n labels still attached to them possibly the only set left in the world, a brand new bonnet stored in Gosford for many years never fitted on a car before.
Only one issue one of the door is a lift handle type so I will convert the door by welding a plate over the opening and re-dril the holes in their respective location. Refer pictures.
I also have a very good set of front guards and an aluminum boot lid making rust repairs on the body basically non existent but will required a lot of panel adjustment.
