Australian 16v205 register

Might including the "16v 205 data sheet" at #68 with and at #1 help and act as an operating manual for the register?

Formatting?

This is a great idea, but the lack of any formatting whatsoever makes it practically unreadable.

In a perfect world, we would have the equivalent of Velospace for bikes and people could showcase their 205s with pictures and everything...

OTHER COMMENTS
Was dyno'd at about 400hp before clutch slip but runs low boost for heat and sanity reasons. Easy to drive, ballistic acceleration, firm over bumps, light (power) steering, firm clutch pedal, short shift gear change, no body roll in corners, scary but fun torque steer.

Anyone is welcome to reformat to their hearts content.
Setting something like this up is certainly not my forte.

It's better than a kick in the nuts though?

Does having two 8v turbo's add up to being in the 16v club ?? :roflmao:

Nope. A 205 with a 350 chev won't count either. :2cents:

Doesn't mean we don't want to hear about your cars though. :bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce:

I have 2
1 x club car , 16v and some goodies
1 x new club car, 16v and not as many goodies

(mind you, i might sell it all and buy a Clio) ;-)

Yeah its good fun and perhaps up there with some of your awesome toys. Part of me wants and Elise too, preferably an S1 with a vtec heart.

Ha ha...12 second quarter mile! I think it is much quicker than any of mine! I do miss my 205 greatly.

S1 with a Honda conversion would be very cool though!

Oh no!
Not another one biting the dust, is ANYONE actually going to finish their projects and get the cars out there competing?

Hey guys, Im Lewis. I drive the topaz blue s2 205 on the northern beaches. It was Karoshi's old pug. Recently loss my lisense for speeding (I'm a P-plater) so the pug will be undergoing a major overhaul.
Car currently consists of:
-XU9J4, lightened flywheel, peterT stg 1 cam and chip.
-Series 3 speedlines
-Raceland coilovers (yes, they are horrible)
-Lowered about 35mm all around
-Red pleather ricaro reps
-Strut brace & rear sway bar.

Future plans:
-New coilovers-gaz?
-XU10 motor
-stiffer torsion bars
-LSD
-Discs and pads
-Half cage (if I have the money)

Nice to hear from you Lewis!

You also have series 3 disc brakes (complete beam actually) and your wheels are the French ones, SMR? Slightly heavier than the Italian jobbies.

Surprised you held on to your license that long.

The register of 16v 205s is progressing. 30 cars have been identified (see #1)

We now have four (4) data sheets completed (car Nos 1,2,8 & 23) 4 from 30.

It would be good to see more! :)

I'm wondering if there are any French car loving web designers who could add a feature to this site so we could put up individual cars with a nicely designed photo gallery, information, and comments section. Then I'm sure we'd get a lot more people taking the time to putting their info in.

But don't get me wrong, I don't want to disparage the efforts that have gone into this thread - it's a very noble cause!
