Australian 16v205 register

Graham, no it's not Simon, but a work associate of his, Jason. Simon also has an S1, but he's trying really really hard to just keep it 'nice and standard' as a fun and reliable road car, but...

I'm not sure if Jason is considering p/s, more about sorting out the suspension, engine management etc... it's just a stocky Mi16 initially.

Current settings of top mounts from the pic.

Things can get very busy without it although not as critical for bitumen as gravel.
First Peugeot for Simon since the 504 twenty years ago!

It's apparently the same guy that had the imported red 1.9 that he advertised for nearly a year. He described it as immaculate and listed the price at $12k, then came down progressively to $8k, then created a new ad and started at $12k again, and so on... If he's going to adopt the same approach for the Mi16 it might be very good value once it comes down to $8k!

I notice this car has now be readvertised with a new ad, new photos, new description, and new made up contact name, but now for $9,995...

Some weights I measured when building my rally car.
Back seats 16kgs
Rear hardware including seat belts and speakers 7
Front seats 15 each
carpet 2.5
a/c compressor 8
underlay 8
headlining 2.5
front speakers 3
sump guard 5

Would you like some? I'm just about to make some from 4mm polycarbonate.

No, but thanks for your offer Peter. Until my car gets defected, it will remain a compromise for the road. Eventually, I would love to go to town with the rear hatch etc as well.

On this note, do you think we can remove too much weight from the rear and upset the balance?

My race car still handles well with the rear being very light. The only problem I have is getting heat into the rear tires.

I tend to find that one of the fronts gets warmer than the other too, depending on the number of certain direction turns on the given track.

I'm wondering if there are any French car loving web designers who could add a feature to this site so we could put up individual cars with a nicely designed photo gallery, information, and comments section. Then I'm sure we'd get a lot more people taking the time to putting their info in.

I was wondering too.:)

There are probably a lot of computer savvy aussiefrogs capable of this.:wink2:

By the way, some of the 16v 205 spec sheets could now be updated.
