did you buy the packard? that is cool!
Hello Shane - - yes it's a rusted Humber Vogue. Michael seems to know what he wants as far as Landrovers go. The Automatic Range Rover has proved to be good at towing at around 2,200 revs.what are you going to do with old Series II? The stage 1 is the one to get, it has range rover running gear, so you share parts with the other car (and Disco 1's) Roger has a Stage 1 single cab with a nice big flat tray on it. it would be a very useful ute (if you could afford to feed it as well as the range rover ). Is that an old Humber sitting next to the ID19?
This would be it I would imagine? Is the green sportscar a Kieft?
A few more pics.
Also an eight cylinder 1949 Packard turned up at Kingston which was exciting for me as I hadn’t seen this model before. 1947 was the last year of the sixes.
Next day, Sunday 25th February we stopped in at the Daylesford market and onto Trentham in our 1954 Light 15.
As everybody would know - - - it is so important to be driving these old cars as often as is practicable to keep the brakes from seizing up and generally to keep everything in check.
The Light 15, like the Big 6 is a great car - - - just not as comfortable, not as good with suspension as the Big 6 is longer and just that bit more utilitarian.
So much fun to enjoy these wonderful old machines.
