Regional Victoria is out of lockdown at the moment so a jaunt here and there in the '68 Safari and ID19b. They are both going very well after the work done recently - - - - - thank to the "brains trust".
One pic showing the guards off as I cleaned, painted and tweaked some wiring.
Behind the Peugeot of "Le Sel" cafe is a horse and cart in Maldon.

Oh yes, Peter from Bullarto has cobbled up a '28 Chev tow truck so if anyone breaks down in the Goldfields area you know who to call.

John

thank you for those, you've made an old man very happy.
i'll have to look up La Sel now, but that's roughly where i met Gaston Saint

update
203s glaringly absent from their website or facebook page, sadly, just food.
Tasty good food i'm sure, but still an opportunity wasted ... a sunroof being less common post-203A, i'ld be interested in it's story.

It really is amazing, the assistance that John has had through Aussiefrogs to get these Citroens back on the road.
Brother John and myself certainly aren't mechanics but with the expertise that is so generously shared, we get the jobs done.
"Tis Amazing ..................... Michael

Again we are lucky - - - unlike Melbourne who are still having a hard time.
The Castlemaine Club were coming Daylesford way to Mt Franklin so we got some locals in earlier cars to join in..
We took the ’29 Chrysler and Peter with extra driver came with the 2 Morris Cowleys of which the little 2 seater is the English version of Michael’s 1923 Citroen B2.
Michael, as the rest of us, again proved that these early cars can be driven on the road with a great deal of enjoyment. The distance from Castlemaine was quite a feat for Michael as the little beauty cruised at 65-70 km/hr.
The ’28 Packard was there and of course the Chev Blitz and ’29 Chev sedan so the B2 was in good company. As we had time we went to Maldon for a cuppa.
All our best to our friends in Melbourne doing it tough with covid.
As we speak, Michael is on his way across Victoria in his trusty ’61 Slough Safari to Hamilton so he has very much kept the Citroen flag flying today.

Oh yes, you will notice that I borrowed an idea from the DS hydraulic tank to check the level of petrol in the Stewart vacuum tank in the Chrysler - - which, incidentally, works very well.

John, Janet and Michael.

A few drives here and there in a lockdown lift in regional Victoria - - - off to Clunes past an old goldmine, Ballarat and Harcourt with Michael's '24 Hupmobile. Masks off and away again.

Very envious John, we (Melbournians) have many selfish, irresponsible people within so it take a bit longer.
PS: how do you post so many photos when others can't even post one?

Well, when one replies to a post one presses the attach part and on my computer the my document files come up so I find the pic and click and - - done.

That's how it was previously with my set up too. Not anymore - "unable to download, file too big".
What I have not tried (need to locate manual for smart phone) is to take specific photos for uploading using greatly reduced megs instead of going to photo Gallery whete photos are found on my phone.
John
PS: you got nice "shots" there or is it our love of beautiful cars?

Yes that's it. I always have to resize to about 800 on the computer.

We do love to just drive - - old cars.

I have found an easy way using the phone camera......
Take the pic from further away, with lots of useless background.
Then use the edit / crop / rotate function to reduce the image down to the bit you want. Then save the image.
It's very quick, and allows you to prune the pic down to the relevant subject.

Looking great, it's coming along. Just needs a tidy up at the back.

At a guess, the stengthening ribs in the side pressing only appeared around '58
