How mad is that, would have cost the guy a fortune, give him credit though, i am really impressed with that.

Bloody nice 306 though i gotta email that guy see what else hes done.
Glad too see sumone has gone nuts on their 306 instead of sum stupid Lancer or Honda...makes me wanna go all the way to Adelaide just to see his car now

hahah 8V i wouldn't touch that motor with a 10 foot pole. I wanted to turbo my 8V but it wasn't worth it.
I wanted a good base motor to start with if i ever turboed the pug and a GTi6 motor is the best base i can think of
Oh and as for that 12.8 Me no think so....the car isn't even finished yet. Maybe thats his estimated ET but i doubt it.
Alot of my friends have turbo converted FWD cars and his car should be mid 14-high 13 ET. Still bloody good though
Hell my friend has a Mitsu Cyborg R 950kg with a GSR 135kw Turbo motor in it with close ratio box. His best ET was a 14.5 on street tyres

It certainly does, and the 1.8l 8v at that. I've seen the 2L 8v XSi engine (courtesy of member SW) and that is not it. I guess the 8v has (relatively) lower compression than most of the other Pug motors which would make it more appealing to turbocharge

Looking at it again... the headlights are N5 headlights (single unit lights and indicators) so maybe it's a 1.8l 16v engine? I've never had a close look at one of those.

4. SCRATCHED AND DENTED MY CAR
5. ****ED UP A WHEEL, THEN SAID IT WAS "GOOD AS NEW" WHEN ALL THEY DID WAS FILL IT WITH WAS AND REPAINT IT (NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE ORIGIONAL COLOUR)
6. PARKED MY CAR A STREET AWAY NORMALLY, WHERE IT COULD BE BROKEN INTO.
7. TOOK IT FOR JOY RIDES
8. ARE COMPLETE IDIOTS WHO CANT TUNE NEW ENGINE MANAGEMENT FOR SHIT!
9. WROTE ME A QUOTE, THEN DOUBLED IT, THEN DOUBLED IT AGAIN AFTER THE WORK WAS FINISHED.

damn thats no good to hear. Just taking a look at that engine bay my god everything is custom. It must of cost him a fortune for that. Look at the turbo position...that manifold would be a b1tch to make
Is there that little room behind the 306 engine? Must be a tight fit if he mounted the turbo to the side.
