Peugeot 504 from Serbia

Good effort !

Are 504 parts easily available over there in Serbia ? Or do you get them from France ?

Thank you!
In Serbia is a very rare car, there were, but rusty and destroyed, parts are hard to find, but I'm digging in the ads :D and I not in a hurry and need to get the money ...

Well, if you need to know how to fix any parts cheaply, just ask here on this forum.....and say that you need to do a cheap fix.

Some of us were very poor when we owned our 504s, and have had a lot of experience fixing them cheaply (but well). For instance, you can use the alternator from other brands of car....even the radiator. But you probably know this already.

Kako si Dishaka you are enjoying your 504 .Well I have re discovered Peugeots after a long abscence my last Peugeot was a 403 model now I am excited about the 406 turbo diesels.Especially the economy since I travel about 20000km in 3 months all the best to your project but if you get a chance to drive the turbo diesel try it you will love it.dovidjena Marijan (zooge) zujic.

:) Pozdrav Marijane!
And I discovered Peugeot :) As the official car I drive Peugeot 508 2.0 HDI (2013)... nice car, but by my standards tough... drastically more comfortable my private Renault Espace 2.0 (2001).... and I can not mention the previous Citroen XM :)
Of the this Peugeot 504, expect softness like sharks DS :) shall be at least half of it and I'll be happy!

I can't remember, but I DO remember that when I looked closely, it was not difficult to work out. Use a couple of small flat screwdrivers.

The (horizontal) strip along the bottom is more difficult. It's easy to accidentally bend it, and then it will never look good again. If you take off the trim inside the door, you will see a few (maybe 4 or 6) tabs holding it in. Just bend the tabs. They are part of the door.

You might like to get the outside door handles from that car. Or at least the one from the front drivers door. When they get older, this type of handle breaks. The metal they are made from is not good.

Happy to give whatever help I can.

If you need to take out the vertical piece on the door, open the door and there is a small bolt underneath the rubber strip at the top of the door. As in this picture. lajsna.jpg

Great to see it all progressing, Dishaka. How's the engine ?
