Beautiful Wedge!! Could you please cut the tail off from that cable tie that keeps the fuel line in place :wink2:.

Do you have some hp figures from the seat of your pants? Well done Brian.

Frans.

That is at the wonderful museum in Loheac, Normandy. Many Alpines. Wonderful place, just wonderful. I'm not into bucket lists, but for rear-engine Renault folk, this place rates very highly. I'm still excited looking at my photos of it.

It looks very simple without the body on. I think you need to make one MG. Actually no, I think you need to make a few of them, enough to go around. What do you think? You know we all want one :)

There was a home made one around a couple of years ago in Sideney I think it was. I have the contact details somewhere if you are interested, he might still have it. T'was a rolling chassis same as above, just needed a body shell and seats really.

J-man you have email..:deal:

Shadows of Ron Champion's "Build Your own sports car et al" ?

Which is a project my brother embarked on and eventually produced a Lotus 7 look alike , with Datsun components and a 4age Engine.

You know you want to do the same with Renault parts. :joker:

I went to Loheac this July, there is so much there you don't really absorb what you have seen.
Sitting in the local pub/café for lunch I reckoned I knew the sound so went out to see a 5 Turbo (not Turbo 2, version 1) arrive. then a little later another of the same. The 2 owners were very happy to talk, even with my limited French, and they had never heard of each other. Several beers....

Great place Loheac Museum. A must for any car enthusiast, particularly good for Renault and Alpine.
