Is the identity of the man in the middle ( wearing white overalls ) known ?

Before I got my Si from Graham I was considering this (so glad I ended up with what I got). It has been in a front garden in Cherrybrook Sydney for about 10 years and still there. Looks like a tree branch has landed on the windscreen and roof and caused it some terminal damage. Made what I thought was a fair offer to the owner but I think he had GTi rose coloured glasses on and thought I was a chancer.
Still sits there, with that windscreen surround / dashboard damage, and being in the bushes not sure it will see the road again.
