Did you see the dodgy engine mount in RAT205? It looked as if the owner had just belted in a bit of rubber with a BFH, in order to stop movement.

Looks can be deceiving.

That is why I always drive the car with the bonnet closed.

Been like that for over 10 years.

No problems yet and still has the same standard Pug engine mount.

Then again it probably does not see much lateral loading. Ha Ha!

Must be, I go through the big mounts every 6 months or so on my 205 club motorsport car. The 405 setup is much better.
