Renault 750 For sale Adelaide (Edwardstown)

I think they look like this, but I'm sure you could knock them back into shape Master :clown:

Amazing. You have to wonder how many there really are out there! I doubt we're going to see a rush of R8s like this though. :)

Just do it 59Floride, the last one is just about done.:roflmao:

This latest car looks very saveable...any idea what year model it is..?

1955, Australian assembled.

Be wary of the red primer coated parts on the gutter, usually the place where they rust from the inside out. If nothing else, it would make it easier to do a decouvrable conversion.

And yet another 750 sprouted from the SA underground. Also a close rello of the yellow 750 above, being 40 vehicles earlier in its oval plate number.

This one has even retained its numerical numberplate, hopefully it can be retained on the car if it has been reserved and passes with the sale. Otherwise it will be another $3.5K minimum cost to secure it for the vehicle.

Apparently stored since 1977, when its new crossplies were fitted, there even seem to be remnants of the running in instructions on the speedo, as well as original trim, floor mats, and a nice selection of original documentation.

This is an amazing thread; my idea of internet porn. I cannot believe how many nicely preserved cars are coming out to be seen and sold.

South Australia seemingly has a burgeoning motor industry, punching out patinated Renault 750s. Yet another couple have popped up in South Australia on Renault750bay, both from the same vendor.

The USP with this one is that it is complete with a 6 volt radio, complete with Daliesque station indicator. Obviously, the pristine head lights and tail lights have been taken off and placed in safe storage.

The next one is a project car, a shell with lots of spares and a couple of Dauphine power units and an optimistically Gordini rocker covered 750 power unit.

And just when you think there can be no more 750s in Adelaide. Another one, presumably not for sale, nicely finished in yellow can be seen peeping from behind a pile of 750 seats.

Great to see all of these cars turning up, as well as lots of spares to help the already known ones!

Amazing. There's one up in Peterborough too - wonder if it is the Ferlec car I spotted in 1967? There's reputedly another in a nearby town.

Incidentally, I used a Gordini rocker cover for years because they don't warp like the "correct" ones, and therefore leak a lot less.

Cheers

That Greenock car is worth $50 for the rear bumper... And the front bumper. They both look reasonable by my "maintained not restored" standards.

I'm thinking that yellow one is "Buttercup" from Aussieemu on here ...

Hi John, correct, that is Buttercup in the background on the hoist. Unfortunately I need to sell all of my Renault stash of cars and parts I have collected over the past couple of years. This includes the infamous Kermit which I haven't listed yet. It will be sad to see all this go but I hope it all goes to a good home / homes.

That's a shame. Sorry to hear that - both running cars to go? Could you email the me or the 4CV Register with a list and it could be sent directly to all our members around the country? PM me if you want to do that and I can arrange it.

Hey John, if we can get a list of what Aussiemu has and circulate through Frank, as the Fourword has just come out and wont have another until March, just a suggestion.

In your stash, would you have an r10 or R8 you want to part with?

My thoughts exactly.

Are you still after a 10S volante or have you got one by the way?

Cheers
