R10 Automatic Problems, and Adjustments.

well you wont have to worry about anyone stealing it ,,they wouldnt have a clue how to drive it !
 
Now they could make a slow get away in first gear! 😁

After letting it warm up completely for 10 minutes. Then, and only then the idle will drop low enough to get it in gear..

To slow a rpm is fine, but just a squeak too high and it will grind in protest...

That cold idle speed can be adjusted down a bit at the carbie. There's a link on a rod that can be moved (a fraction of a mm).

For the USA on the R10 there is an additional 'fast idle' system to pass Federal emissions, on a manual it is controlled by a rpm switch, for this T.124 auto it's controlled by the correct sequence of inputs from the governor.
