Cookie:

Your Cold Air Induction do look good!! eek!

Please let me know how does it affect your engine...or as other guys suggest are you losing low end power. The reason I asked is because I hate to lose low end power..as I drive around suburbia quite a lot.

Cheers
Billy

Cookie, is that a King Dragon Filter? I have exactly the same setup. Just watch for water puddles.

Seat of the pants driving, I haven't felt any loss of low end power. I will try to organise a dyno run and check to see what differences there are. Will let you know results.
My filter is a K&N.

How much does a Dyno session cost, i am intrested in doing a test to see the current performace and then as I improve things can get it also checked, this way I can see if things are improving.

Ditto Parry especially given PV reckons my Pug is one out of the box. Which way only one 'legal' way to find out!

Expect to pay about $80~$120 depending on number of runs.
If you can put up with rice brigade you can do a dyno shootout for anything between $35 and $60. Check Fast Fours, Performance Forums etc for latest offerings.
Shootout mode will not give you Torque reading but the software is calibrated to give comperative results between different dynos running the same software (ie ability to compare different dyno's), and is designed as idiot proof so the readings cant be "preloaded".

I would suggest the 1st option, but be sure to check any changes on the same dyno in the future.

Weren't you at the CLA meeting at Silverwater? What were you thinking of doing to the 75kW engine? Or were you thinking of the "other" engine?
