I would add Jason Hantos 0407 281 269. Has a workshop in the Hornsby area, Sydney,

Grew up as a kid playing around with his father's D's, owns a Xantia and works on SMs. I think he is quite adept at any models in between. His hourly rate is Citroen owner friendly.

Jason Hantos in Hornsby is definately worth the hour and a half drive, freindly bloke, last time i went had 2x Citroen D's, 1 GS and what i though was a SM (i may be wrong:)) all just outside and inside his workshop.
 
I highly recommend Auto Paris of Box Hill Melbourne for their excellent services and great mechanical skills in dealing with french cars.
 
Sadly Citroen Downunder is no more. There is a new garage at 1/9 Thurso Street Myaree. 0404231712 Francois from Swiss Automotive Services and Stuart Pekin a long time aficionado of Citroens have joined forces under a yet to be determined business name.
 
Hi Alan, Mal here and my CX25IE and I live in Port Macquarie on the mid north coast of NSW. Amonst your cx bits, would you have a pair of rear mudflaps inc brackets, boot lid spoiler, and the closing panel or valence that fits below the rear bumper through which the exhast tailpipe pokes. Just for now, price and availability please we can sort the freight later. Maybe I'll take a drive up. Where are you as have friends at Yepoon. My tel 0409071941. Thanks, Mal.:)
 
I wouldn't recommend Zagame west melbourne. If you happen to go there, make sure you ask them to give you the quote for the services in writing, as they tend to inflate the price after you send in your car.

Old Mr. Wong passed away some 2 years ago and his business has already been closed. I happened to meet his son that he told me that.

Speaking to Colleen at Citro Motors recently, I was advised that Colin, the long time mechanic there, has now retired.

For Victoria (Melbourne south eastern suburbs in particular) there is also :-

1) Heka &Co, Factory 3 / 10-16 Stephen Road, Dandenong South, Vic 3175. Ph: 03 9706 8355. Originally started by his father, but now run by Robert who knows older Cits like the back of his hand. (not the quickest of workers though).

2) Elliot Beniada is a mobile Citroen mechanic who is based in Frankston, he served his apprenticeship in Paris with Citroen in the days of the DS & CX, so knows these models intimately. He will also service modern Cits & has all the equipment to do most jobs in your driveway. Phone 0412 391 205.

Auto electrician - Melbourne

Can any one recommend an auto electrician in Melbourne who is sympathetic to and familiar with older citroens.
Also I have used Spencer Street Automobile for servicing my C5 and they seem petty good. They try to keep costs down and use second hand parts if appropriate and after consultation with client.

Read your tread. I just bought a CX 76 2200 4 speed manual hatchback. I have never worked on a Citroen before but have always wanted a citroen. I decided to bite the bullet and buy one to do up. The seats are in a real mess and damp/exposure have made a mess inside. I would like to change the gearbox to a 5 speed. The bloke I got it off is from the Queensland Cit Club. I live in Moree NSW. Brisbane is closer than Sydney. We often go to Brisbane. I don't mind trvelling to look at your parts collection and haveing a chat. If you don't mind a visitor please let me know.

Couple of quick things.
Delete your name address and phone number mate, the entire, big bad computer world out there can see it and its a candidate for identity theft.

More importantly, if you did read Alan S threads, mate sorry to say he passed on a couple of years back.

well equiped workshop
So far good with sorting the XM tuning.
C6 and 407 next.
I think they will be good with PSA engine and auto.

Malvern Tyre Service in Melbourne (1105 Dandenong Rd East Malvern, opposite the Rosstown Hotel) has a Euro Balance machine for balancing DS and Peugeot wheels.

French Tech Automotive at Forestville - Peter Haremza - 9453 1644 - I can highly recommend.

Have been taking Xantiae to him to sort problems at very reasonable prices since 2006.
 
Has anyone used Paradise Garage in Roseberry NSW? They were quick and helpful in finding a GS fuel pump. Any good for service or repairs?
