Citroen Parts & Service List?

I have to start to wind down my supply of CX parts.
We have done rebuilds, and mods as well as having parts on hand from cars we've imported and wrecked.
There's complete bodies about 90% rustfree, 5 speed gearboxes, 2200 recon head including valve guides (cost $550 to do) engines suitable for rebuilding complete, seats and a host of other bits including two as new rear doors totally rust free.
I will compile a list as soon as time permits, but I reckon we could have the most comprehensive supply of CX parts possibly in Australia.
Only problem I can see is that we are in central coastal Queensland so possibly cartage may become an issue although most I feel can be handled by rail.
I also have a friend wrecking a BX and we also have a few excess BX parts that we may be able to supply.
Anyone with a wish list, drop me a PM and I'll respond with pics and we'll try to negotiate prices to suit.

Yeah, do a top job.
Gotta admit though, I did a copy and paste out of the white pages.  You'd have to wonder how much business that name costs them when potential customers can't find them in the phone book due to incorrect spelling; very few seem to get it right. :trouslap:

F/S wrecking CX2400

I'm wrecking my CX2400 1980 Pallas. Rust in front pillars, Chateau Gris metallic paint. Leather seats, alloy wheels, I've already pinched some parts for my other CX but plenty left. A good offer for the lot would be good, or piece by piece.

Thanks

Wrecking BX 16V

Well - what I thought was going to be a good multi-weekend project car for my son is now a writeoff. We had a major hailstorm here today which totally stuffed my 16V 'parts car' that had a very straight body on it. Broke the back hatch window, hammered every metal panel in it - so I'm now going to strip the car and either use or sell the parts. Engine needs a rebuild as bottom end is rattling, hydraulics are excellent, tranny/diff excellent, mag wheels not bad - a few scuff marks, interior good but dirty. New exhaust system, tow bar, original cassette stereo with remote control, etc. Don't think A/C worked - never ran engine long enough to see, but don't think it did. All electrics worked - so as soon as I have time will start stripping it....and my son will get the TZD instead of a 16V!

Alan Sklenars in Hamilton, NZ. Seemingly the only person in Australasia to carry GS cambelt kits, also has a truly mind-blowing collection of bits for almost any Citroen you care to name, assuming he can actually find them.

Citroen Classics in the UK now have a new website and online shop.
Early days yet, they have a lot more parts than advertised.

THAT'S A LOT MORE. Apologies for yelling, maybe Darrin will hear me, though I know he doesn't have the time to do as much computer work as he would like.

Darrin and Kris have the highest standards of service and I've extolled the virtues of buying from them in the past.
Now with the stronger dollar it makes even more sense.

Thanks for the tip Richo,
I have made contact with Darrin who has been very sharp with replies, as you say there is much more available than is currently shown on his site. I have ordered and paid for parts that otherwise would be difficult and expensive to obtain elsewhere. Much cheaper that his Ebay competition, both for the parts and postage. Big advantage here for me is that he speaks English, I've experienced some costly mis-communication dealing with Ebay France.

So far very impressed :approve:

Cheers

Citroen parts & repairers list

Hi. Just a short note from Sydney to let you know 2CViking now lives in France, he comes to Oz just before easter to do a "repair tour" Also Jeff from "Citroen downunder" died in 2009.

Parts & repairers

Hi Again You seem to have most of the usual suspects rounded up. Yongie at Autofrance died in Dec 09, and this company has struggled on until Nov 2010 when is has been sold to Dapco. Dapco is in Kingsgrove NSW (02 9534 3588). Also I can recommend EAI in Box hill Vic (eai@eai.net.au) For hard to get parts look at GSF parts in UK, they have helped me on several occasions.

Melbourne updates

Nick, Cars Of France is
"moving from our home in Fulham Road and merging with our friends Darebin Tyre & Service Center around the corner at 170 Grange Road Alphington 3078. "
Elliott http://www.frenchgarage.com.au/ is now also a mobile mechanic .

A Netherlands supplier online you can trust - Citroworld

Mainly for D Series

Happy to highly recommend Geert Bukkems of Citroworld.

His online ordering, postage quotes and prices you will find appealing.

Geert also has over the past year extended his listings considerably.

As with any of my recommendations, they are based on past and current experience.
I've been dealing with Geert for a few years and watched all aspects of his business improve.

Geert is especially good with orders which weigh over 2kg when compared with service from other parts of Europe.
