Shoji, consider putting some stick on insulation on the firewall and floor. I didn’t bother and just carpeted the area but now get quite a bit of heat through. On the list of jobs to pull it out and add some insulation.
Good idea. The stick on bitumen type with a soft aluminium outer is very good. It is partly about adding weight to the panel to change resonant frequencies too.Shoji, consider putting some stick on insulation on the firewall and floor. Bowie, they were just made on the fly when I bought those seats a few years back. I have them on the car to look how I can make them look fancy. And I have been getting pricing on recovering the seats as they look a bit faded. The fabric covers will have orange in them and maybe some logoOoooooh I like those seat rail guides? My 12 didn't have them, would have probably saved the floor from cracking. Assuming the adjustable rail and seat just plonks on top? Noice!

I did JohnW. $4,500Go to Millanes...
Ah yes. Not the cheapest in town. But very good. I've used them several times for collapsing head linings and, most recently, for the R8 roof lining.I did JohnW. $4,500
After the quick pics, I popped those in Bowie. It's rolling so now I can concentrate on the the body again.Ah seeing that front section back together (minus those forward facing rods) kicking goals! How great to have that spring back in there and everything fresh. Nice feeling
I see the pics in full view John, exactly like the ones I have uploaded on my resto thread.More fun photos. The hatch has come back from sandblaster and I treated the metal with wire wheel and rust converter. It leaves a nice surface for the zinc rich paint.
Out of interest, does everyone see these pics in a full view or smaller? They load up quite nice in size.
