2014 C5 Special Edition

Note that being the 2.2 diesel at 107km then the engine mount mentioned is likely the active harmonic mount. Usually don’t last past 100k kms. If it’s anything like the same era pug 2.2 it’s a prick of a job! Mount can be bought online for around $500, but fitting (on 508 pug) is around 3-hours. So you’d budget for $1000 fix.

A leaking rear main seal by itself is easily $2K+ for a technician to fix properly. The repair manual will likely begin with 'Remove engine and gearbox' but it's usually possible to drop the subframe and remove just the gearbox from below. It may be leaking from the rear bearing cap side seals and not merely the lip seal on the crankshaft and that adds a bit more to the job by dropping the sump for access.

To that add:
Rego
Timing belt ??
Tyres? Were they decent or cheap tyres from Bob Jane.
It has light hail damage apparently.
Battery
Front sphere(s)
Engine mount. Possibly just the lower torque link.
Active engine damper?
Wheel bearing?
Anything else?

Does $9,500 look like good value?
