If it has the air suspension in the rear it will have the controls near the removeable boot light
Thanks Rambo, yeah it did, had nfi what it was , makes sense nowIf it has the air suspension in the rear it will have the controls near the removeable boot light
I showed the missus and she fell in love with it and would willingly swap her one lolWell it's booked in for a local specialist to check it over tomorrow.
Fingers crossed its not too bad news, cause I do really like it
Thats the problem I've got 'Rambo, now that I have experienced that one's interior, will Any others match up?I showed the missus and she fell in love with it and would willingly swap her one lol
She loves her french tarago and has nothing but glowing remarks about it
That is the hard questionThats the problem I've got 'Rambo, now that I have experienced that one's interior, will Any others match up?
Will know more when it's checked outThat is the hard question
I've not seen another like it and it's quite stunning
So now you have the issue, do you buy it for it's fitment and put up with any niggling problems or walk away if you find another without any issues but has the standard interior of that era
Hi David, yup it needs the rear handle assembly fixed, it's just the microswitch currently, with no surround around it.For clarity, this will be a 2.0HDi DW10B (RHR) engine mated to an AM6 full auto. All early Picasso sold in AU to about 2010 had this engine/gearbox or a 2.0 4 cyl petrol with an AL4 gearbox. Pneumatic rear suspension is extremely uncommon in AU and will be expensive to fix if it goes wrong and is retained. The intermittent gearbox issue could be a hot 2-3 upchange flare, usually requiring a valve block. A bad brake switch can also cause some gearbox issues. The turbo vacuum hose sometimes fell off or a y-piece in the engine vacuum harness cracked making the car feel gutless and holding the lower gears. It may be due for an Eolys particle filter additive refill, if not already done, so cost that job as a possible repair. Be aware the tailgate release is via a tiny microswitch inside the handle, but people grab the handle roughly and break it and the handle assembly.
is the 3008 a diesel or petrol???From a standing start they go quite well
Compared to my 3008 it seems more sprightly off the mark but at highway speeds the 3008 acceleration for overtaking leaves the picasso for dead
Mirrors seem to be a consumable, when we got ours from Dave he had already sold a mirror from it but luckily found another so the car was complete
Both dieselis the 3008 a diesel or petrol???
We ended up scoring a bargain on a Magna wagon of all things, so the Picasso dream is postponed for now. We will keep an eye out in 6-12 months time and see what we can find then, No doubt wont have this ones interior, fingers crossed it has less issues than this one seemed to!
