Another 2 from the same place, same time. Any takers yet? The wagon was in 'Saville's' showroom at Lidcome not long before this. Schmick looking crate she was at that time.

The wagon was a very pristine car in the early 80's owned by Norn Saville. After his demise it was sold to a young lady who was going to garage it and look after it.
But it ended up mostly living on the streets around the inner city. The owner had a food shop on Glebe Point road just off Broadway
None of the other cars ring bells for me as to who the owners were.

Yes, it's a shame it was 'let go' to the elements afterwards. Anyhow......... Here's another 2 cars, same place, same time, any takers on these. One on the trailer. Dennis?

That wagon looks like it was a hearse. Very unusual proportions for a 403L.

I'd guess that those two pictures are photos taken of a slide projected on a screen..hence the distortion.

John

Yes, your right on that one, the whole lot, and the remaining images to come as well. Any of the old guard got their thinking caps on yet for the place and time, and also if the cars are still above the ground? Maybe the next installment will jog some memories.

If the grey 404 has rego DOY820 it is mine (Jon Marsh PCCNSW). I remember being at the Centennial Park gathering. I sold the 404 in 1989 to a guy from Terrigal - I don't know what happened to it after that. It was a 1964 model and I had it for 10 years. I remember the 203 on the trailer - can't remember the guys name, but he was very proud of his restoration and was disappointed when Club members looking at the car criticised various bits that weren't correct for the year model.

AVS 709 has been through a few PCCofNSW hands over the years. It's no doubt on club plates these days.

Yes she lives on, looking better than ever, now enjoying the clean air of Springwood, Blue Mountains.

2 more from the same place, same time. Still searching for the rough looking ACT car. There were from memory maybe 3 or 4 Uni guys in the car at that time.
