Graham Can we have a Megasquirt update

I ran the Delco system on a Charade I had with a jap import 3 cylinder EFI twin cam turbo engine (CB70 engine).

I wired it all up no problems and used the standard Daihatsu sensors for most parts- I think I bought the proper IAT sensor and that was it (plus a GM two bar MAP sensor.) It ran really well, but I didn't do the programming.

Kalmaker have a package with a ECU, software and PC interface cables for around $1100 IIRC. The good thing is you use a readily available ECU and all the sensors can be bought from any Holden dealer at a usually cheap price. Plus you get diagnostics, 3D ignition mapping...

The Charade was dynoed at 75kW @ the wheels running only 6PSI (less than standard boost). Daihatsu only claimed 75kW @ the engine- so the Delco did a good job. Ran a 15.69 sec 1/4 mile at AIR running 12PSI with no intercooler- not a bad effort for a 993cc engine!!
