Found this on the road out front. I don't think it's off one of mine, but what's it for? Seems very specific. Is my axle about to fall off??

That’s a wheel bolt nut off a peugeot or Citroen.

Jeezus! And yep.... the 206 is missing a front one. Got 2 new front tyres last week. Cheers for that, tyre shop

Time to crawl around underneath and see what else might be falling off

You should be thankful - as it's a locking wheel bolt that most tyre shops will do up and then destroy so that you can't remove it again.

I do hope you threw it in the bin.

Maybe so. I don't feel I'm in that much danger of having my wheels stolen, like it's a car in Mad magazine in New York in the 70's
