Hi Guys,
I have a peugeot 308 2010 HDi 1.6 Dieser 5Dr hatchback which has run 80K KM. Across forums it says recommended time to replace timing belt is 80,000KM and 180,000KM and 240,000KM.

Can any one confirm?

Thanks

On the 307 HDI it's sposed to be 160K's but it depends on whether there are any oil leaks which would mean immediate changing.
There's also a time limit which is round 6-8 years.
So yours being 2010 it's already past the use by date so change it asap, it just isn't worth the pain if it fails.
Do the oil seals at the same time. You could also fit new idler and tension pulleys and a waterpump if you want the full belt and braces. A good look as then you know you only need to do the belt next time. By then you will know the proper and correct recommended mileage interval and you'll be aware of the time factor as well.
