Got a similar quote from the dealer for a battery for my 308 T9 Hdi. Bought a battery for less than half the price with similar specs from the NRMA (who checked the electricals first to make sure it was the battery). Have bought several batteries from the NRMA over the last twenty years because they come with a three year warranty. On one occasion they replaced a battery close to the three year period without any issue. Must admit was surprised the original battery in the car lasted 6 years.Have the same problem with my 2015 308 Allure and the countdown is down to 850km. The Peugeot dealer in Cardiff says I need a new tank and injector and Peugeot Oz will only pay 50% of the parts cost which leaves $3925 as my cost. It also needs a replacement battery supplies & protection unit which is an extra $933. Can't believe this expense for a vehicle with less than 60,000 on the clock. Any views on whether the main dealer is the only option I have ?
