Timing chain 3008

Hi there,

I wondering if anyone has any knowledge or thoughts on the the timing chain for a late model
3008. Specifically MY18.
The mileage is nearly 80,000kms and even though the chain isn't listed on the servicing
schedule etc, I have read that they've been known to break with high mileage.

I am deciding whether to keep the car or sell it, and if i keep it, should I replace the chain in case or
leave it?

If there's no problem just leave it. It is supposed to last the life of the vehicle and the chain, guides etc have undergone numerous revisions since the early days of chain failures. My 2015 has not had any issues. Use good oil and stick to the schedules and just enjoy your car.
