It was a lovely event here at the birthplace of William Shakespear this weekend, nice weather, and a fantastic collection of cars. We had probably the largest gathering of Citroen Visa cars and their C15 van cousins, for many years. The more unusual of which were a factory built C15 6 wheeler (no, not a conversion!!!) and a home made C15, with a BX 16v engine, and hydraulic rear end. there were 3 LNA cars there too!
We had Lots of DS's, 4 SM cars, 2 BX 4x4's (very rare now, as they were a disaster), 6 Traction Avant including a familiale (very long wheelbase, never seen one of these before) a 1932 C4 (rear wheel drive, not like uga boga's) Lots of CX's and BX's, 5 Xantia activa's a totally pimped XM 3.0 24v (black windows, furry dice, leopard skin seat covers, chrome wheels.....yuk!)
It was fun catching up with Pat and Helmut again, and even tim2cv was there in his CX turbo, just to make me jelous! I will post some pics tomorrow.
Pretty good to have 4 aussie froggers, at an english event! john s
