Well, it had to happen.....

I think this should feed the Purflux/Ryco oil filter comparison debate

That's what I meant by it being convoluted both ways. The surface area is high even though it's compact. Mind you, I know for a fact that Rycos aren't like the cheap no-name brand in the comparison. I've opened one up, and they're quite dense. There's much more of an element in a Ryco than that. BTW that orange casing looks like a Fram, but I'm sure it's not.
