T7 308 Rear Brake Caliper Rewind

I have the tool to rewind the calipers on my 2012 308's rear brakes - however I cannot turn the piston clockwise to rewind it!

Is there any steps to take so that I can rewind the caliper or......?

The handbrake cable is disconnected and only the hydraulic line is connected.

Try anticlockwise, my Citroen C4 VTS is ACW on the RS (i think) and CW on the left. I have a tool kit which caters for both.

Yes, the reason I got the proper kit, the earlier cars such as 205 only required a flat bladed screwdriver.

I have just done it on a Cit which I think is similar. Push very hard and turn clockwise (as dmcc says), and better use the tool with some muscle.

Thanks everyone.

Job now completed - the tool I have had pins on both sides for different pistons and when I used the tool the redundant pins jammed on the backing plate make it seem that the piston had frozen.

Not wrong about muscle needed!

I hacked off the offending pins and all went well using a bl--dy big spanner to screw the piston in.
