Did you know that Peugeot Speedo cables make an extremely irritating high pitched squeal when driving in temperatures below minus 15 centigrade. This has happened to me over the pst few years in several different Pugs when it gets below too much. Sometimes the noise disappears after a few minutes whilst sometimes the cacaphony continues far longer. The worst I had was when it was about minus 27 and the noise lasted about half and hour in my 404 familiale.
