1964 Peugeot 404 cabriolet (injection) for sale.
Purchased while living in Paris in 2002 and then shipped to Brisbane the same year, the car is in generally in very good condition and has been kept in original left hand drive. The car won most original car at the 2007 Grand Display of French Cars in Brisbane (see image). It was registed and driven up until I moved abroad in 2007 and has been in storage since. The car has just come back from Euroserve in Brisbane where work has been done on the brakes (new wheel cylinders, brake lines), and some other minor engine work has been carried out (new rubbers on injection pump, timing chain adjustment). Although the car is now very much in driving condition, it is being sold without a RWC.
The car has travelled less than 2000km since basic engine reconditioning work was done (rings, valves ground, new bearings, new clutch). The car has minimal corrosion, and the interior is in good to very good condition with the exception of the floor carpets which are readily available online as complete kits.
I also have an original hardtop for the car, which is in poor but restorable condition.
