Ever seen Jaques Tati's 1967 movie Playtime? Saw some of it this evening on Foxtel.It is a must for French car buffs, and of course for lovers of French movies. Anyway, I am sure Simca had a interest in this movie of some sort as it is absolutely choc a bloc wall to wall Simcas 1000 in lotsof scenes, including vast parking lots with only simcas 1000 parked in them. Really bizarre.

Have seen bits of it and dont remember the DS scene. Probably on purpose, but the traffic in both movies is all staged and you see the same cars over and over again. Still,the footage of all these great French automobiles is so yum yum.
