Side impact/yaw sensor p/n 9666370880

Quick question, is the above sensor (from a 308hdi 2011 model) single use or will it reset itself after being triggered in an impact?
I know that the airbag ecu has to be reset or replaced after it has deployed airbags.

The sensor in my C5 simply measures rotation about the vertical axis and acceleration normal to the car's direction, for feeding to the ESP. If you have stopped there is no signal.

I once triggered it by dropping into a deep hole on one side. I restarted the car and drove away.

Cheers . This one triggered the passenger side curtain and seat airbags due to a tbone.
