Ok..... after a bit of parts book research and rummaging in my various piles of stuff.....
I have found part numbers for, and samples of the 5 types of crank handle extensions supplied for pre '66 (single wheel bolt) D series cars.
Wow, so many variants... I'll try to get the right one for my car - which was delivered as a new (partly-built) car to the Chapron workshop on the 8th of March 1963.
