When did the dash change from strip to dials, just curious about age of mine.

1967 or 1968. looking up your chassis number would give an accurate year.

If you've got black dahsboard with 3 dials then your car hails from the 1970 model year or later.

Depends what model of car you have. For the European market (and other RHD markets following suit), there was a significant change with the plastic dial unit introduced for the 1970 model year - meaning Autumn 1969. However RHD Slough built cars were using dials way back in the mid 1960s. Sometimes two dials, sometimes three.
