There is one of these tractors in the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, worth a visit if you are ever near Stuttgart Germany.

Nah, Porsche tractors are much too common in Australia, that's why I went for the Renault, also because mine was build in Le Mans.
FYI, if I was to go Italian tractors, it would be a Lamborghini, but much more common in Australia than a running Renault 3042
After the war it was common for an importer to bring in a shipment of obscure tractors which a farmer might take back up country with a box of spares and that's it. Most makes seemed to find their way here. The Porsche tractors were small and most likely used in horticulture which is why a few survived. Designed by Porsche before the war during his Nazi period. Now most tractor makes are produced by a few conglomerates with parts sourced from all over the world. Most but not all makes are available here. Tractors from some countries and their spare parts cannot be imported by law.
