I was at the wreckers in Fairview Rd Kangaroo Flat and saw a Renault 18 parked in the yard. I think it was pretty complete. They specialise in Aussie cars so probably ignored by most customers.

Hi Morton403. Do you happen to have the name or a phone number for this wrecker. After spending some time looking through wreckers in the Melbourne yellow pages I've just realised that Kangaroo Flat is near Bendigo, not near Eltham as I thought - that's Kangaroo Ground!!

Their no is 03 54470777. Opening hours are 8.30 to 5.30 Mon to Fri and 8.30 to 3.00 Sat. I've talked to them about the car and they claim its in reasonable condition and was running ok when it came in.
I'm quite interested in the engine (without ancilliaries) and possibly the gearbox, so if you're interested in other parts we should consider buying a bulk lot or the whole car, either of which will be cheaper than individuals going and buying bits and pieces off it.
On the other hand if you're interested in the same bits as I am, I guess it will be first in first served, although given that they are the other side of Bendigo, I won't be getting there too soon.
