R18 wiring problem

I drove the Wagon at night for the first time tonight, when I turned the head lights on the righ indicators lit up & stayed on. The left still worked ok, infact whilst the left was blinking the both right indicators were lit were still on.
At this stage i'm thinking a short in the park lights circuit to the r h indicators.
Any ideas where this might occur, or other suggestions greatly appreciated.

Hi Damien

Check all the earths for each light. A poor earth caused by corrosion can cause all sorts of funny things to happen.

Thanks will do. I had a broken slide on terminal in the RHR assembly And had to solder the wires on, i may have stressed the earth connection. cheers!

Problem fixed Stop light and earth wires transposed, i finaly gave up & called a mobile auto elec. All packed up and gone in 1/2 hr with $71.50 of my money boo hoo.

Booked in with Dave C on saturday so we can fit the towbar. Time is approaching to finish the R10 whooo hooo.

This R18 is great, i now have a use for all my oily rags, this car runs on the smell of them.
