i recently bought a Peugeot 308 and have had diffuculties finding the actaul date of manufacture. I have written down the model and chasis hopefully i get help .

The month and year will be marked on the build sticker. (Usually a stamped metal plate on older vehicles) You can also take the RPO or DAM number from the sticker and convert it to an exact date. It will be the first 5 digits followed by a 2 digit factory code. It simply counts the days since 9 November 1976.

You are looking for a sticker on one of the door pillars that contains a section like this. There are a few formats.

308 (T9) 5 DOOR SALOON 1.2 THP 130 (EB2DTS Euro 6) AUTO GBOX 6-SPEED STT
but not the date of manufacture (for that I would have to pay money).

gives me this:
2014 Peugeot 308 T9 Access Hatchback 5dr Spts Auto 6sp 1.2T

• 5 door Hatch
• Petrol
• 6 speed Automatic
• 3 cylinder, 1.2 litre engine

So it's most likely a 2014 model

Sticker on drivers side. (RHD)
Look at the drivers door, bottom CNR left, then open the door.
On the middle pillar between the doors? (front of right side passenger door hinge)
Eg,
Could be in a different place?
