1993 Peugeot 205 Si Auto for sale. Parts or Restore $500 ono
The car was my daily driver for over two years but i now have neither the time or financial means to keep it running as it should.
The Good; The interior is in excellent condition apart from a small tear in the carpet under the brake pedal and some fading on the headrest area of the rear seats. All the panels are very strait with no visible rust. Since i owned the car i have had it serviced regularly by a french car specialist, (formerly of the French Garage in Moorabbin) with regular oil servicing and maintenance . The car starts strongly and the automatic gearbox is changing smoothly. A new battery and starter motor where installed less than one year ago. All electricals,
including power windows are functioning.
The Bad ; Tires although still with tread are quite old. The rear three quarter, top of rear hatch, and front guards are faded due to loss of clear coat. The drivers side front brake calipers is seizing and probably needs replacing. Smoke is evident from the exhaust on start up. There is some rust evident under in the spare tire well that i just noticed yesterday.
Selling with no RWC or REGO as my feeling is it is probably best for parts.
