Good evening, I have a problem with my 1962 ID19 with engine fumes entering the cabin. At high speeds there is not problem, the fumes begin entering when driving in town or at idle. I have filled all cavities with sealant where possible but the problem persists. From material I have read if I fitted a PCV Valve (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) it would solve my problems. Therefore rather than reinvent the wheel I though maybe somebody in your neck of the woods has already performed this procedure and could offer some advice.
Thanks,

You would just need to block off or use the existing vents and fit the valve. its probably going to be easiest to fit a ford valve in there (cheap, readily available)

its a controlled vacuum leak, so you will need to make sure any restrictor that is required is fitted (ie: a narrowed bit of line)

Thanks for the advice and the lead to a suitable PCV Valve.
Next week is already spoken for, committed to non shed tasks but the following week I will get back into the shed.
