For those that do not know, the PCCV is holding its annual "Auction Night", this Friday 4th Oct.

It is arguably the most enjoyable night to attend (of all club meetings), as items from peugeot cufflinks and hard to find posters to peugeot cycles and car parts are auctioned off, at next to nothing prices! Obviously, items will change from year to year.

Youll also find that it is one of the most attended meetings all year, therefore, the adjacent car park is gonna be chocker blocked with peugeots for everyone to perve at eek! .

I may not be in attendance (as i have an appointment with the beer doctor :D ). But if you see a graphite grey 205 GTi with personlised plates(of course with an AussieFrogs sticker on its arse), come over and say "howdy" - tiz me approve

While youre there, pick yourself up one of those wicked peugeot t-shirts... theyre "frign sik mayte". It is done in french blue and the pug symbol in a yellow... think theyre still 15 bucks... youd have to be nuts not to have one in your summmer wardrobe mallet ,

cheers a_drink ,

Sounds like a lot of fun :D

Hope to see lots of Aussiefrogs members there!
I'll be in my silver 505 GTi, with the aussiefrogs sticker proudly stuck to the rear windscreen

Hmmm... What time will the meeting start (and roughly finish)???

I'll try to make it along, after "studying" at a friend's place in Ringwood tomorrow (although I will be giving up a DVD night he's having... I'll see if I like the choice of movie...) :D

Cheers,
Richard

... thats right, the meeting starts at about 8ish, but be there earlier, say errr, ummm... 730ish (thats pm :p ) for the car park drool - thats about the time when peeps start rockin up and fanging up and down the street, not that anyone should... hehehe

... eyy guys, i feel like a bit of tight arse, but i probably wont make it tonight - its pissin down, at the moment, and i'd hate to get ma hairdo wet  .

Anyways, im sure you lot will have a good night salivating over the plethora of pugs likely to be there, and pick up some neat peugeot stuff, in the process.

cheers cheers! ,

P>S. dont forget to grab yourself a peugeot tee - the one with the big old skool rampaging lion on the front - i think its the one similar to the one found on 504s

Yeah, its on one of the avatars here, and on the front cover of the instruction book of any early model 505. I think the rubber floor mat in my car has it too :D

Well, the auction went pretty good eh?

Nice to meet you guys, nJm, silverexec, pug505exec and PUG307. Keep on puggin'. head_ban

I have to say, it's amazing how people can get so excited over tubs of nuts & bolts :) I don't think I've ever seen such intense bidding.

Nice to meet everyone else too.

Cheers,

Justin

Yeah, it was nice to meet everyone and finally put some faces to the names on here.

John, we didn't really get to talk much, didn't even get to see your car... I'd went to turn off my engine and when I turned around you'd gone...
Nice meeting you anyway!

And I was looking out for one of those Peugeot tees but didn't see any, the white one for auction was about 5 sizes too small (no I'm not massive, it was a kids tee...)

Cheers,
Richard

... Wow! Great to know that there were a number of you waving the aussiefrogs flag.

Although, i had plans that friday night, i considered rockin up for a few moments. i got as far as punt rd then decided to turn back as the traffic was absolutely horrendous (i work in the cbd). Pity, as i missed an opportuntity to meet all of you - surely there will be many in the future wink .

i called a mate to look out for yall and pass on my regards - his name is Alex drives a neat 505 with the bottom front lip missing - he also owns a 504 and has owned numerous models through the years).

Nick, youre a lucky sonofa as i know of those floor mats - they look crazy. Im hoping you have no need for them as i wouldnt mind taking ownership :D .

Yeah, bidding can get a little out of hand, at times. I wonder if there was anything decent to bid on, apart from "tubs of nuts and bolts" mallet .

Hey, Richard, those peugeot tees were not auction items but can be bought from the little stall(normally found to the left of the stage). And that white peugeot tee, 5 sizes too small? Its all the rage these days - you could wear it with your hipster jeans and look like an ex member of the back street boys mallet ,

cheers yall cheers! ,

My car wasn't there Richard, I came with my brother in his Alfetta, the one that made lots of noise when it started :D . Look out for a white Mi16 next time.

John

Was your brothers car stoned and its panels kicked in by one eyed tweed jacket (with leather elbow patches) wearing puegeotphiles?lols

At one club meeting, some courageous dood decided to park his sooped up holden piazza in the same carpark. When he was leaving i heard one guy yell out," get that shit outa here!". roll_lau head_ban

There's normally a little stall for merchandise?

When was the last time you attended a meeting pugjet :) Heck, I've been to every meeting since July (or is that June?), and I've never seen any stall.

Cheers,

Justin

No panel damage, but someone spat on it... wink

I only have one for the driver's footwell, and I like it a lot as its really grippy so you don't slip around when wearing wet shoes. I've seen a huge pile of them at Pugwreck in Bayswater. Its quite a drive, but its amazing what they have it you're after interior bits.

It was a great meeting you Richard and John. Hope to see you at another one some time.

cheers,
Nick
