Passing of Brian Wade - funeral details

Brian passed away on Friday 15/12/2013 after a long illness. He had a long association with the Citroen fraternity, attended national meets and organised a national anniversary run, was a member of CCOCA and the CCCQ, and appeared here as slough40. Many will remember him for his extensive knowledge of Tractions, however he also owned many other Citroen models over the decades.

Brian’s funeral will be held 11am (QLD time) Thursday 21/12/2023 at Lohrisch Funeral Directors 65 York Street Beenleigh. The service will be streamed, but the link is not yet available.

Sad to hear the news that filtered out to me yesterday. I'm glad to know that his blue ID19 has gone to a good home in Sydney where it has been for a few months. Now on NSW Historic Rego.

I hope Esther is doing OK.

Sad to hear that - just now. I went on the 2015, 60 th anniversary run led by Brian. Very knowledgable on the early Australian ID19s.
