Good morning. I have a warning message coming up on the screen of my 2007 model peugeot diesel - 'Particle filter additive level too low' . After googling there seems to be numerous ways of topping up the additive.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

For the HDI engines it depends on the year and whether it uses a tank or a pouch, The additive type can be found from the colour of the connection fittings. Tanks are topped up, pouches are replaced. All require the computer to be reset after renewal from the OBD port.

Quick way is to ring EAI in Melbourne for a quote with the VIN on hand. 03 9899 6683

And please, do NOT let anyone convince you that you can top up the Particle filter additive container with AdBlue - this is a totally different chemical only used in much later diesel engines to reduce NOx, not particles.
