Just letting u all know out there that there is another new updated chain available for when u do a timing chain replacement on a 1.6 turbo petrol Engine.
Don’t buy an after market kit even the magnetti Marelli brand as it’s still using an old style chain that will
Still eventually stretch.
The new chain has holes in the rollers which allow oil inside them preventing premature failure.
Part number for the new chain is 9822827180
Go the the link for pictures and u can see what the modification is and how it differs to the last chain. It is recommended if u only want to do it once to fit this latest update chain part. And change both cam sprockets and crank sprocket and all
