Lock sticking

The lock is sticking on the front passenger door of my 505, occasionally, when I unlock the car.

Any thoughts?

pull the trim off and spray everything that moves with silicone spray and see how you go
i just finished doing this to the 604
i even sprayed all the window rails and sunroof slides
amazing how much quicker everything works now

That's an easy enough job! I'll get onto that tonight and let you know how it all goes.

Cheers,
Chris

just don't use WD-40 or anything like that as they are drying agents
you need to make sure you get some silicone spray
woollies normally have it

Do you mean the lock part inside the car (plastic lug bit)... or the tumbler inside the lock that is turned by the key ?

If it's the later don't use oils (silicone spray included) they attract dust and make it worse. For locks you want to use Graphite Powder (one brand i have is Pressol).

Interesting this was discussed for the 505 here ..
