It’s the condenser!

Finally running like a top! Was stumped by a run of NOS Standard condensers. Located a couple of period correct NOS Ducellier’s, one from Canada, another from Ohio that did the trick. A lesson leaned, always carry a spare condenser. On another note, recently received the oil filter decals in the mail, excellent. Thanks to everyone for pointing me in the right direction to get them.

You can always buy a "normal" capacitor from electronics' supply stores and pot it to make it automotive spec. They're much better too. More serious suppliers (Digikey, RS, Farnell, etc) have automotive capacitors in stock as well.

Thanks for the information. I’ve filed it. It had me stumped. New condensers, 3 in a row, what are odds. All good now, she’s running like dream.
