Here's a French car event that not many of you may have heard of. The Hunter Valley French car day has been held annually for about the past 15 years in various locations around this picturesque area. This year fellow French car enthusiasts will gather in the grounds of the Wollombi Tavern in the historic village of Wollombi, west of Cessnock, NSW, on Sunday August 18. Last year there was 35 Pugs, 2 Renaults and a Citroen. Hopefully this year we can balance the ratios.

I would be interested in going along to that i think. There needs to be more Renaults there for sure...

Should be good day. Looking forward to it. Sydney drivers, don't forget to go via Peats Ridge and Bucketty for a more interesting drive!

I'm seriously considering but like you would like a show of hands. Dont want to be alone in Wollombi.

You won't be alone, I know of at least four cars coming with our family and of several others coming too. Last year there were 35 Pugs.

I'm definitely there with family and friends. (2 Pugs and a Citroen)

I'll definately be there again, "avec moi 404", also I know of a 306XTdt that will be there.

Beware of Dr. Jurd's Jungle Juice. It is a local Brew!!!!!! with a kick. cheers! cheers!

wat time do u get their i like too know a little more info i`m thinking of going up their

It was a good day, despite the drizzel after lunch. It's a shame more didn't make the trip.

There were a total of 35 cars at the event, of which only 2 were Renaults and 1 Citroen. I am pleased to say that the Renaults were owned by NSW country members of the Renault Owners Club of Canberra, plus 3 other members of our club were there without their cars. So where were members of RCCA?
As you can guess, the rest of the cars were Pugs, including six P203.
