How to identify 203 gear boxes?

I realise there are type 1 and 2 gearboxes, but is there a way to identify year of manufacture etc of type 2 boxes. Were all type 2 boxes configured as overdrive boxes. Also, is there a difference between sedan and commercial gearboxes.

1960 model had slightly different ratios. All had overdrive. 203s had a different clutch setup and casing was different to the 403. Commercial boxes would have different speedo drives.
