Called in at the GC museum as I hadn't been there since pre Covid.
Pleased to see a number of different vehicles on display to the last time.

A few Frenchies.

Quad carburettor Honda 9. I remember a mint silver one of these sitting in a Toowoomba car yard for a loooong time about 30 years ago. The asking price, $2K.

NSU rotary. Those inboard transmission mounted discs look familiar.

Row of '50s Buicks, no need to say "cheese.

Everyone loves a bubble car.

Paxton supercharged Studebaker Avanti. One of these ran 178 mph at Bonneville in 1962. It was at the time the world's fastest production car.

A side valve straiģht 8 for @56 Fregate. This one's a Packard.

A number of bikes.

Very early Triumph. They should give it to me, I'd soon get it together and putt putting around.

A pre Indian build Royal Enfield.

Very nice flathead Harley sidecar outfit.

'22 Velocette.

Suzuki RE5 rotary. The sign said 1978, but they didn't make them then and it has the early ('74) instrument cluster.

'78 Honda 6 cylinder, twin shock, CBX1000.

Stanley Steamer in "barn find" condition.

Essex speedster, reminds me of the Bean I built, it was number 8 as well.

Early Rover was quite a large, imposing vehicle.

Wolesley engine was quite short for a six, would only have a tiny bore though, as was the style at the time. Huge alloy crankcase with a bolt on cast iron cylinder block.

Cadillac engine was a metal polisher's delight.

Funny child sized steam car. Interesting power transmission.
