having another clean out. have had this for a few years but never got round to building it. basically a complete si xu5m motor fitted with xu7jp4 crank rods pistons liners oil pump and sump. This combo makes a free reving 1.8 8v motor with a very nice rod ratio. comp ratio will be up there at around 11:1. as pistons are almost flat (maybe-1 or -2 cc) and they sit flush with deck.
has all been chemically clean and has no signs of corrosion. new main and big end bearings, freshly honed 16v liners, new chrome moly rings fitted to pistons and new full gasket kit.
head was torn down and is in good cond but still needs valves recutting etc and reassembling. spacer made to run 16v crank pulley and comes with 16v toothed flywheel.
comes with 3 cams. 1. worn dkz 2. xu10 8v (suit regrind) 3. clive special 238@50 and very high lift. on the limit of springs.
